FLUSHING OIL

 

Flushing oil has been prepared for a specific job. Since big system such as hydraulic, Turbines or heat transfer system requires extremely cleaning of pipelines. Before commissioning, all oil circuits need to be mechanically cleaned and finally flushed. This is done to remove all contaminants such as cleaners, corrosion preventives-.from the system. Flushing is also required during the stoppage of oil circuits and recommissioning them about 60-70% of total volume is required for flushing pump to be operated at full power.

It may be advisable to remove the bearings to avoid contaminants entering them and oil has to be repeatedly heated to 70 degree then cooled to 30degree centigrade. This expansion and contraction helps in the lodging dirt from system and mobile filtering units  with  5 micron gives best results in a turbine units. Flushing oil may be re used after proper filtration . Flushing should be carried out till no solid contaminants are found in the filter .In heat transfer system, it is lucky to have drains located at all low points of the pipelines so that the contaminated oil can be easily pumped out via pressure taps or the valves may be removed for a complete draining out of oil, than the compressed nitrogen gas is forced inside the pipelines and all the contaminated oil sludge is drained out.

Best Flushing oil is only obtained if boiler is preheated to a temperature between 60 degree or 70 degree so that contaminated sludge is drained out easily. In a new system it is better to flush the system before filling since main contaminants left in a system are welding slag’s   particles other solids liquors, oil or other coatings. If this flushing is not done it will mix with all the contaminants & thus reduce heat transfer fluids life.

Machine manufactures uses variety of thick fluid   rust preventives to protect the internal part from rusting while transport via shipment or during storages.  After they are transported to their destination, the flushing oil is inhibited against rust and special solvents also acts as a penetrating agents & thus a complete debris which is left within a machine is cleaned, after new machine is assembled.

 

FLUSHNOL 12

LUBOL Flushnol 12 is a blend of low viscosity straight mineral oil with cleaning additive It is developed for flushing the internal surfaces of engines, hydraulic and other lubricating systems to remove carbon and grime, etallic particles, sludge and other contaminants.
Its low viscosity allows it to be circulated rapidly through the systems with minimum pressure, leading to the efficient removal of contaminants.

 
FLUSHNOL 22

LUBOL Flushnol 22 is used for transmission or flushing of the system after the contaminated oil has been drained out .This flushing is widely done by all the manufacturers before starting a machine so as to avoid any type of contamination in a new oil.

The oil has a tendency to absorb moisture or water which is left behind in a pipeline. Special grade Flushing oil Flushnol SP is perfect at realizing sludge’s from the internal pipeline of heat transfer system or from Engine components. The Flushnol SP helps in cleaning coke from a pipeline of heat transfer system or even in Engine service where poor quality oil is used and sludge is   formed in critical areas which later on will reduces the flow of oil, so Flushnol  SP helps in diluting the sludge’s due to its special additives & thus it cleans & removes sludge’s & carbon from the Piston ring of an Engine.

 
FLUSNOL SP

LUBOL Flushnol SP is hydrocarbon based light mineral oil consisting cleaning based additives for the purpose of ‘Desludging’ of contaminated oil & other alien substance. The multipurpose Flushing oil are recommended for use where a system history is unknown. LUBOL Flushnol SP contains special chemicals & can be used with confidence in system requiring minimum contamination from calcium, detergents, and soaps containing material. LUBOL Flushnol SP is a detergent based flushing oil suitable before commissioning, All oil circuits need to be mechanically cleaned and finally flushed. PERFORMANCE:

 
It is a blend of specially selected solvent refined mineral oils with detergent additive. It is generally used in those areas where it is deemed not desirable to have a solvent introduced into the system or to have seal materials coming into contact with a solvent.
   
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS :  
Flushnol is unlikely to pose any health or safety hazards, provided good standards of personal and industrial hygiene are observed.

Avoid contact with skin. Use impervious gloves with used oil. After skin contact, wash immediately with soap and water.
   
ENVIROMENT PROTECTION :  

Take used oil to an authorised collection point.Do not discharge into drains, soil or water.
